Krebs Institute Symposium:

The "-omics" revolution

Tuesday 7th June, 9.30 a.m. – 3.10 p.m, Tapestry Room, Firth Court

Technological developments over the last 2 decades have allowed
biological data acquisition at unprecedented rates.  This has provided
the framework for systems level analysis.  However in order to achieve
this goal one must apply an interdisciplinary approach, using robust
technologies to address biological problems and to be able to utilize
the considerable data output to lead to greater understanding.   Within
the UoS we have considerable expertise in all these important facets.
The role of this symposium is to bring people together to discuss
current research and to engender more integrated approaches.
